Counselling

Ethical Practice and Qualifications
I am bound by the ethical guidelines of the Bacp (British association of counsellors and psychotherapists). These are discussed during the contract when we first meet.
It is a requirement as a member that I am supervised once every month (by a suitably qualified supervisor) during which time any ethical issues are discussed.

To keep myself updated in my practice I attend any relevant workshops or training that will enhance my practice. A list of some of the workshops are below.  I have done safeguarding training so that I can work with young people and have the relevant certification. I hold recent enhanced DBS checks to enable me to work with young people.
